Businesses: boletín or project?
Under the Spanish low-voltage regulation (REBT), an authorised installer can issue the boletín directly for simple installations. An engineer-signed project is required above certain power thresholds (roughly over 10 kW for commercial premises) or for premises open to the public.

Frequently asked questions
My installation is old and has no boletín — what do I do?
Very common. I inspect it, tell you whether it needs upgrading, and prepare the paperwork to legalise it with Industry so you can contract or modify your supply.
Do you work with my installer?
Yes. If you already have one, I coordinate with them: I sign the project and technical supervision, they execute. If you don't, I'll tell you what whoever you hire needs to do.
What are 'premises open to the public'?
Premises with public access where the REBT demands extra guarantees: certain bars and restaurants, waiting rooms, shops with significant capacity, etc. There, an engineer-signed project is mandatory.
